وقعت الشركة الكيميائية السعودية القابضة من خلال قطاعها الدوائي، المتمثل بالشركة السعودية العالمية للتجارة (سيتكو فارما) وشركة أجا للصناعات الدوائية (أجا فارما) والشركة الكيميائية للاستثمار التجاري المحدودة، بتاريخ 22 مارس 2021 مذكرة تفاهم حصرية مع شركة هيلمان العالمية للخدمات اللوجستية، لتأسيس مشروع مشترك حصري لتقديم خدمات لوجستية يعدّ الأول من نوعه في القطاع الطبي في المنطقة، ويهدف إلى توفير خدمات الشحن والتحميل والتفريغ والتخزين والتوزيع وفقًا لأعلى معايير الجودة والسلامة والأمان.
وتعليقًا على المذكرة، أكّد الرئيس التنفيذي للمجموعة المهندس ثامر المهيد على الدور الواعد لهذه الشراكة الاستراتيجية، حيث ستكون بمثابة منصة لوجستية متقدمة وموثوقة، وشريك فعّال في رفع جودة البنية التحتية اللوجستية في المملكة وتنويع فرص الاستثمار والأنشطة الاقتصادية.
وأضاف المهندس المهيد أن هذه المذكرة تأتي متوافقة مع برنامج التحول الذي أعلنت عنه الشركة في تاريخ 23/6/2020 وتماشيًا مع أهداف برنامج التحول الوطني ومرتكزات رؤية المملكة العربية السعودية الطموحة 2030 لتعزيز المكانة اللوجستية للمملكة كمحور تجاري رئيسي يربط بين ثلاث قارات.
من جانبه قال الرئيس التنفيذي الإقليمي لشركة هيلمان وورلد وايد لوجيستيكس في الشرق الأوسط وجنوب آسيا السيد مادهاف كوروب، أن هذه الشراكة الاستراتيجية التي تضم الخبرات الإقليمية والعالمية لشركة هيلمان، في مجال الرعاية الصحية بشكل خاص، إضافة إلى أنظمة القياس المعيارية العالمية والعمليات والنظام المتخصص في إدارة الجودة للشركة، إلى جانب المكانة الريادية للشركة الكيميائية السعودية القابضة في هذا المجال، ستساهم جميعها في إنشاء نموذج تشغيلي فريد لقطاع الرعاية الصحية في المملكة العربية السعودية.
تسري هذه المذكرة لمدة 90 يومًا من تاريخ توقيعها، وستعلن الشركة لاحقًا عن أي تطورات مستقبلية فيما يتعلق بمذكرة التفاهم في حينه.
Saudi Chemical Company Holding (SCCH) signed on March 22, 2021 an exclusive memorandum of understanding (MOU) through its pharmaceutical sector, represented by Saudi International Trading Company Ltd. (SITCO Pharma), AJA Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (AJA Pharma), and Chemical Commercial Investment Company Ltd. (CCCI), with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics to form a joint venture company for logistic services. This exclusive joint venture is considered the first in the healthcare sector in the region, aims to provide transportation, loading, unloading, warehousing, and distribution services with the highest standards of quality, safety, and security.
Commenting on the MOU, Eng. Thamer Almuhaid, Group Chief Executive Officer of (SCCH), emphasized this strategic partnership's promising role, as it will be a reliable advanced logistic platform and an effective partner to improve the quality of logistic infrastructure in Saudi Arabia and diversifying investment opportunities and economic activities.
Eng. AlMuhaid said that the )MOU( is compatible with the )SCCH( transformation program, announced on 23/06/2020, and consistent with the National Transformation Program's goals and the Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 aims at strengthening the logistic position of the Kingdom as a hub connecting three continents.
Madhav Kurup, Regional CEO of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics in the Middle East and South Asia, stated that this strategic partnership between two companies, by bringing Hellmann’s global and regional expertise, particularly in healthcare vertical, along with our globally benchmarking systems, processes, and specialized quality management system, complemented by the leadership position of SCCH in healthcare space, will create a unique operating model for the healthcare industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The (MOU) will be effective for 90 days from the signing date. The company will announce any future developments related to this MOU in due course.
